About Us
Speechcare was established in 1992 by Alison Jackson who is the current director.
Speechcare operates from offices at Carina and speech pathologists also visit schools and colleges on the south side of Brisbane.
Speechcare provides assessment and therapy for children and adults with a range of communication difficulties including:
- Speech and language delay/ disorder
- Late talkers
- Oral motor speech disorders including childhood apraxia of speech
- Autistic spectrum disorder
- Literacy disorders
- Accent modification
- Speech, language and swallowing disorders acquired as a result of stroke or other neurological conditions
- Voice disorders
- Stuttering
Speechcare also offers Occupational Therapy services.
